FREE Conference Opportunity for educators: 2020 Educator’s Conference on the Holocaust

  • When: Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 4:15pm-8:45pm
  • Where: Burton Barr Library, 1221 N Central Ave, Phoenix AZ
  • What: The theme of this event is Holocaust by Bullets. Catholic priest, Father Patrick Desbois has dedicated his life to documenting, identifying and examining the sites where Jews were exterminated by Nazi mobile units in Eastern Europe. Compiling new material and many eye-witness accounts, Father Patrick Desbois, has put together the definitive account of one of World War II’s bloodiest chapters. Father Desbois is President of Yahad – In Unum, a global humanitarian organization he founded is dedicated to identifying and commemorating these sites of mass executions. This conference will give educators tools and information they need to provide meaningful and challenging course on the Holocaust.
