ACHE’s annual conference is returning to an in-person event for 2022! For this year’s conference, we’re working to bring you both engaging, informative content and provide tools to help navigate our current landscape of burnout, stress, and increasing pressure on educators.

Saturday, September 17th, 8am – 12pm
Where
MPS Creative Arts (Historic Irving School) – Mesa, AZ
Detailed Conference Information
Theme – Historical Memory: Triumph, Trauma, & Truth
This year’s theme will focus on how the commemoration of historical moments informs our understanding of history. In recent years people across the globe have engaged in debates over the portrayal of historical figures and the impact statues, memorials, building namesakes, and textbooks play in constructing historical memory. How can we use current controversies to engage in a broader discussion of the past by including a wider narrative, more diversity, and empathy to contribute to the complexity of understanding?
Keynote Speaker – Dr. Lauren Harris, Arizona State University
